Charts and Graphs
Let's take the data representation to the next level now. Again, the intent is to present data in a way that makes it easy for the reader to make key inferences right away without needing a lot of effort.
Using the same data from the Household survey that we presented in a table format earlier, we build a bar chart here.
We have a bar for each of the responses - starting from 2 people per household all the way up to 7. The height of each bar represents the count we have for that response.
We use colors merely to highlight each bar.
You see, it is a lot easier to answer the three questions about the data now. It's easier than looking at the table and answering them.
